About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Dentist - Oral Surgery to join a premier clinical team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced surgical interventions while adhering to the rigorous clinical standards set by the Dubai Health Authority.

This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex oral pathologies and surgical procedures within a high-standard healthcare environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to excellence in patient care and surgical precision in a dynamic medical landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform complex surgical extractions of impacted third molars with precision.
  • Execute advanced procedures for the management of impacted teeth and dental anomalies.
  • Conduct surgical treatment for various types of oral pathologies and cysts.
  • Manage dental trauma and reconstructive surgical interventions for facial injuries.
  • Perform bone grafting procedures and sinus lift surgeries as required by patient needs.
  • Implement precise surgical techniques for the management of temporomandibular joint disorders.
  • Ensure all surgical protocols comply with the safety regulations of the Dubai Health Authority.

Requirements

  • BDS or equivalent dental degree
  • Recognised specialisation certificate — CCT (UK), American Board, German Facharzt, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
UAE licensing pathway
  • Dubai Health Authority professional license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Dubai Health Authority Professional Licensing Exam (Prometric)
  • DataFlow verification (Primary Source Verification) — required for all non-GCC applicants

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate must hold a valid license as a Specialist Dentist from the Dubai Health Authority and possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in oral surgery.
