We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to provide expert clinical care in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing diverse patient populations presenting with neurological, musculoskeletal, and neuromuscular impairments through evidence-based rehabilitative medicine.

Key responsibilities
- The consultant will diagnose and manage complex conditions including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- The role involves performing specialized procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, botulinum toxin administration, and electrodiagnostic studies.
- The physician will design and oversee comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation treatment plans and multidisciplinary care pathways.
- The successful candidate will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to ensure holistic recovery.
- The physician is expected to provide clinical mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and rehabilitation residents.
- The role requires providing detailed education to patients and their families regarding chronic condition management and injury prevention strategies.
- The consultant will participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance rehabilitation protocols within the institution.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Recognised specialisation certificate — CCT (UK), American Board, German Facharzt, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
