Key responsibilities

  • The physician will develop individualized clinical pathways for rehabilitating employees returning to work after industrial injuries.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with health and safety officers and industrial hygienists to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • The specialist will provide clinical mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and nursing personnel within the occupational health unit.
  • The role requires educating employees on the prevention of occupational diseases and the importance of utilizing personal protective equipment.
  • The physician will lead clinical audits and participate in research initiatives to improve occupational health standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Recognised specialisation certificate — CCT (UK), American Board, German Facharzt, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
UAE licensing pathway
  • Department of Health professional license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Department of Health Qualifying Exam
  • DataFlow verification (Primary Source Verification) — required for all non-GCC applicants
