We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Physician - General Surgery to join a premier medical team in Sharjah. Key responsibilities
- Perform complex surgical procedures including laparoscopic and open abdominal surgeries with precision.
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments to determine surgical candidacy and manage clinical risks.
- Develop and implement individualized postoperative care plans to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Manage acute surgical emergencies and trauma cases within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- Provide expert consultation for non-surgical management of various gastrointestinal and soft tissue pathologies.
- Supervise junior medical staff and surgical residents to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
- Maintain rigorous documentation of surgical findings and patient progress in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Recognised specialisation certificate — CCT (UK), American Board, German Facharzt, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
